United Voices and carol singing.

We all had a great time at the Chechelele workshop and performance on Saturday and are looking forward to doing it again next year.

Just a reminder that our weekly session on December 8th will be held at Princes Avenue Methodist Church: 7pm until 8.15m.  We joining Cecil and the United Voices choir who is teaching us carols from Sierra Leone.

Other ‘Christmassy’ events coming up:

Carol singing in Beverley ( in aid of Marie Curie charity) on Saturday 10th.  Meet at Toll Gavel/ Marketplace bandstand at 11.45.  (We sing from 12pm, for about 30 minutes).

Some members are joining United Voices at a CAFOD service for refuges at St Charles Borromeo Church in Jarrett street.  Meet at 1.15pm for a rehearsal.  The Service begins at 2pm.

Our final session and Party night on 15th December.  Usual venue, 7.30m and bring a bit of food to share.  Singing led by Alan.

Christmas carol singing at the Crossings hostel 2pm Sunday 18th December, followed by a visit to Rossmore Residential home.
